TIDE Ferrari Racing was founded in 1972 by Thomas I. Davis, Jr. who is in his 55th year of motorsports; racing hydroplanes 1960-1972, sportscars 1973-2017 & sailing yachts.
Tom was the youngest racer ever to win the Inboard 48 Hydroplane Class in the biggest powerboat race in the world, the Orange Bowl Regatta, in 1965.
Tom raced, owned & restored 14 historic & 47 total Ferraris, 1974-2016. He was the Sebring Vintage Class Winner in Ferraris in 1977, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1997, 1998, 2002, 2003 &
the Le Mans, 5th OA, IMSA Class Winner in 1981.
Tom also restored 8 historic homes owned in Palm Beach & Coconut Grove, Florida, 1974-1992, and the 950 yr. old World Heritage Site at
16 Rue du Ponton, Vézelay, Yonne Bourgogne, France.
Palm Beach TIDE Museum was co-founded by Tom & friends in 2016 to continue his passion for restoring, racing & donating historic, vintage & classic automobiles & boats.
